To be more accurate, one needs to weight on the amount of sugar to make 1 cotton candy. According to this website (http://www.todayifoundout.com/index.php/2012/09/the-cotton-candy-making-machine-that-made-widely-consumed-cotton-candy-possible-was-co-invented-by-a-dentist/), there is about 30gr of sugar to make a typical serving size of cotton candy.
